[Eeglablist] Spectopo Parameters in STUDY

Dear List,

I have one question to ask regarding computing measures for power spectrum in STUDY structure. I have epochs of 60-second duration and am using the ‘continuous’ function in spectopo parameters when computing measures for power spectrum in STUDY. This function enables an epoch to be recognised as continuous data and therefore allows one to define epochs (“within the original epoch” so to speak) of shorter duration. I am defining epochs of 2-second duration within my original 60-second long epoch. My question is the following: are epochs of different trials but of the same condition “glued” together? This is important since if they are “glued” together I might be adding artefact to my power spectra. This has been brought to my attention by Mikołaj Magnuski.

Thanks and looking forward to your reply.

Regards,
Marco Montalto
