[Eeglablist] Component plotting

Hi all,

I want to understand what is being plotted when I use the GUI to plot ICA components. I ran runica on epoched data and then selected plot > component maps > in 2-D. Are the plots showing weighted EEG data?
Also, are the figures based on an average of all timepoints or just one point in time? If they are based on one point in time, can anyone tell me how this is chosen?
