[Eeglablist] Why is Phase Coherence Greater than 1?

Hi all,

I have been trying to compare the phase coherence (phase locking value) of 2 channels of the same data set.

>From my understanding, coherence should always be a value between 0 and 1. However, when I use the pop_newcrossf() function to plot the coherence, I obtain values which are as large as 1.30 e+007.

Is this expected and how can I change it back to a value that is between 0 and 1?

Any suggestions is appreciated. Thanks very much.

Arnon
