Hi Matt,
Have you been able to read in the .cnt file? In the appendix of the EDIT manual of the SynAmps2 it says that:
Actual data begins immediately after the header for .EEG, .AVG, and .CNT files. Thus, the offset to the beginning of data is 900 (=sizeof(SETUP)) + 75 (=sizeof(ELECTLOC)) * erp.nchannels bytes.
If your header information is lost completely for this dataset, it should start after the number of bytes indicated by the above formula. Maybe you can find more relevant information in the SynAmps2 manual.
