[Eeglablist] pop_epoch indices kept question

Dear EEGlab,
I am conducting trial analyses, and need to know my trial number.
I have deleted continuous data with the data rejection tool, and now have boundary markers.

I have a boundary marker at the start of the task, since the task is a segment of a larger dataset.
Then I have my next boundary marker at index 32 (keeping in mind index 1 is also a boundary marker).

'boundary'          []             171565  3126       []

However pop_epoch does not include trial 30. I am confused about why 30 has been rejected and not 32, which is indeed a boundary marker.
I therefore wondered how to translate indices between the function returned values and the epochs.

[EEG, indices] =pop_epoch( EEG1,events,[-0.1 0.6],...
        'epochinfo','yes');

Thank you very much,
Jumana
