*Two postdoctoral research associates are sought to supervise
electrophysiological and clinical data collection in a collaborative
multi-site study of major depressive disorder. Theoretical focus will be on
the cognitive and affective mechanisms of MDD as reflected in
electrophysiological measures (e.g., ERPs, EEG).  One postdoc will direct
research activities at the project's New York City site, one postdoc will
direct research activities at the project's San Francisco site. The
duration of this postdoctoral opportunity is 12 months with a preferred
start date of 1 October 2018 and a possibility of extension. The research
will be supervised by a multi-site team of faculty and industry partners.

the opportunity to build skills in collaborating across sites, ensuring
replication of effects across sites, and managing very large data sets.
Opportunities for advanced training in computational methods are available.
Postdocs completing this assignment would be well-prepared for further work
in academia or health care data science. Responsibilities - Supervise and
lead electrophysiological and neuropsychological data collection at
multiple clinical research sites.- Monitor clinical data for quality
control - Perform data analysis and visualization of data collected at the
clinical sites- Prepare presentations or manuscripts regarding the results
of the clinical studiesMinimum Qualifications - A PhD in Clinical
Psychology, Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field or PhD conferred
by beginning of assignment- Completion of an accredited clinical
internship- Expertise using, and troubleshooting, electrophysiological
technology (EEG).  - Understanding of the basic scientific and engineering
principles of EEG- Comfort with independently executing detailed research
protocols- Publication record demonstrating strong research
methodsPreferred Qualifications - Comfort with additional data analytic
tools, especially R, python, and tensorflow- Comfort with EEG data
post-processing and analysis- Basic understanding of neural networks *
