PS: FYI, there will be a hands-on LSL workshop covering such topics and more in San Diego on November 8th prior to the EEGLAB workshop.

Hi Rabnawaz,

As far as I know there isn’t currently a way to visualize streaming data from LSL within EEGLAB, though there has been discussion of this. You would first record the LSL data then import it afterwards in to EEGLAB.

There are other LSL clients capable of realtime stream monitoring, such vis_stream (Matlab) or NeuroPype (Python)

Take a look here: https://github.com/sccn/labstreaminglayer/wiki/ViewingStreamsInMatlab.wiki
and here: https://neuropype.io/

You can always customize something like vis_stream to fit your purposes exactly.

Hi list members,

I have a scenario in openvibe which acquire EEG data from acquisition client. I was trying to stream this EEG data into EEGLAB in run-time. I want to visualize this data into EEGlab plot(scroll) in run-time. I am using the word "run-time", that means online data (not a pre-recorded). I have looked into LSL protocol but I am still not sure if this works for EEGlab or not. I am using windows 10 and matlab r2015a(64-bit).

Thank you

Best Regards,

Rabnawaz
