The paper submission deadline for the 2022 IEEE SMC Brain-Machine Interface Workshop has been extended to April 30th! To date, the plan is for a full in-person conference in Prague, Czech Republic, from October 9-12, 2022. We have a BR41N.IO BCI hackathon planned, the ceremony of the 2022 International BCI Award, keynote speakers, including Prof. Jack L. Gallant (UC Berkeley and the new IEEE Brain Technical Community Chair), and some special IEEE Brain announcements and events.

Top-ranked papers will be invited to submit an expanded version of their work to a Special Issue of the IEEE Transactions on Human-Machine Systems and we will feature IEEE Brain Best Paper Awards at the Workshop. Accepted and presented papers will appear in the conference proceedings as well as on IEEExplore.
