> *Description *A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available
> within the Laboratory of Cognitive Neuroimaging and Stimulation (CNS:

> CNS Lab is to contribute to the understanding of the neurocognitive
> mechanisms underlying reward and decision-making functioning, how these
> systems may be affected by substance use disorders (including trauma), and
> the effectiveness of targeted non-invasive brain stimulation interventions
> (robotic transcranial magnetic stimulation, robotic-TMS) for restoring
> optimal functioning and performance. Using such advanced techniques as
> functional and structural magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), diffusion
> weighted imaging (DWI), human electrophysiology (EEG and ERPs),
> computational modeling, and robotic-TMS, we are currently developing new
> brain-based interventions aimed to correct the aberrant reward processes
> that sustain substance use disorders, namely the reward function of the
> anterior cingulate cortex. The lab currently seeks a Postdoctoral Research
> Associate with strong interest and background in addiction neuroscience,
> neuroimaging, and brain stimulation to contribute to these studies.
> Specific duties of this position include data analysis (functional and
> structural MRI analysis pipelines, signal processing of EEG data, apply
> image-guided robotic-TMS to modulate brain-behavioral relationships), and
> oversee overall study coordination including subject recruitment, research
> assistant training, data acquisition and analysis, and manuscript
> preparation. *Start-date:* January, 2023 (or earlier). Two-year
> appointment. An extension to 3-5 years is possible and contingent on
> continued funding and research performance and scholarly productivity.
> Appointment would be situated within the CNS Lab in the Center for
> Molecular and Behavioral Neuroscience in Rutgers University-Newark.
