[Eeglablist] Resting state EEG: 1-sec vs 2-sec non-overlapping epochs

Dear Tyson,

Try both. What Arno says is right. But the advantage of using 1-s is that
you have twice more epochs to average, so you might grain 1.4 times better
SNR, which you may or may not notice in the results--which is why you have
to try both for comparison.

Whenever you run into A or B questions, always remember that the best
answer is to run both for comparison. This advice may sound stupid but I
mean it seriously. It is a very common pitfall that analysts are forced top
make A or B decision and they do it without explicitly evaluating the
difference in the results.
