Dear all


The lab of Dr. Robert Peach (Jointly, Dr. Peach (Würzburg), Prof. Reich (Würzburg), Prof. Boehm-Sturm (Charite, Berlin)) is looking for a PhD student to join a project aimed at optimizing deep brain stimulation (DBS) for Parkinson’s disease and Dystonia. This role is part of the CRC295 “Retune” initiative, focusing on developing computational methods using machine learning to enhance DBS outcomes.


Location: Würzburg, Germany
Institution: University Hospital Würzburg, Department of Neurology
Deadline: 6th September 2024
Start Date: October 2024
Contract Length: 4 years


Requirements: Candidates should have a Master’s or Diploma in computer science, physics, mathematics, or a computational-neuroscience-related field.. Experience with machine learning, computational modeling, or neuroscience is advantageous.
