[Eeglablist] Neurofeedback set up inquiry

Dear eeglablist colleagues, 

I am looking your collective wisdom on the following inquiry. 

I am interested to set up a Neurofeedback system from scratch, mainly as of its functional outcomes - meaning to be able to use Matlab as standalone or along the provided by the amplifier’s company software (SDK Matlab Access) to code and experiment for the desired real-time analysis outcome. 

I know how to code on Matlab, but I am not an engineer, so I wouldn’t say I am completely confident to get into the very rudiments of setting up such a system from scratch. So please consider this. 

An amplifier with up to 4 electrodes and at least 256Hz sampling rate would do just fine for now.  

Is there anything specific you would recommend? Any help or direction will be really appreciated.
