Lead Data Scientist & ML/DL Engineer
Evolve is pioneering an immersive Virtual Reality (VR) technology platform that integrates multimodal biosensing (EEG, PPG, HRV, EDA, body temperature, and IMU) to decode mental and physiological states in real-time for personalized biofeedback.
Our platform is designed to tackle mental health, well-being, and self-regulation while also supporting attention training, peak performance, and consciousness exploration. By leveraging multimodal physiological analysis, we address chronic stress-related dysregulation for greater resilience and performance. Our interdisciplinary team brings together experts in neuroscience, engineering, software development, user experience, product design, and digital therapeutics, driving innovation at the intersection of neurotechnology and immersive computing to enhance human potential. We are seeking a senior-level Data Scientist & ML/DL Engineer with expertise in multimodal ML/DL, real-time physiological computing, biosignal processing, and/or AI-driven personalization. This role focuses on two core areas:

Real-Time Signal Processing & Adaptive Biofeedback – Developing low-latency algorithms for multimodal sensor fusion, state classification, and closed-loop interventions in wearable and immersive systems.

Big-Data Insights & Precision Personalization – Leveraging biometric, behavioral, and self-reported data to segment users (e.g., stress resilience, emotion regulation, cognitive performance, etc.) and optimize intervention strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Real-Time Signal Processing & Adaptive Biofeedback
-
Develop and optimize real-time artifact correction, multimodal fusion, and feature extraction from biosignals (EEG, PPG, EDA, IMU, body temperature).

Implement state classification and adaptive feedback models to drive immersive, closed-loop neuroadaptive experiences in XR and digital therapeutics.
-
Ensure low-latency processing for real-time physiological computing applications.
-
Optimize and deploy algorithms in C/C++ for embedded systems and edge AI.
Big-Data Insights & Precision Personalization
-
Analyze large-scale longitudinal datasets integrating biometrics, behavioral task performance, subjective reports to uncover digital phenotypes and progress forecasting.

Develop AI-driven user segmentation models for personalization (e.g., stress resilience, cognitive performance, and emotional regulation).
-
Build predictive analytics and recommendation systems to optimize biofeedback interventions and behavioral coaching.
-
Ensure data integrity, interoperability, and compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA).
Integration & Deployment
-
Deploy ML models with low-latency optimizations (ONNX, quantization, TensorRT).
-
Implement multimodal sensor fusion and adaptive inference techniques.
-
Convert and optimize algorithms in C/C++ for embedded AI.
Visualization & Collaboration
-
Design intuitive data visualizations and dashboards for actionable insights.
-
Communicate findings effectively to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
-
Work in an Agile, iterative environment, optimizing models through A/B testing.
Preferred Qualifications
-
10+ years in AI, ML, or DL, with focus on biometrics, multimodal fusion, real-time physiological computing, and/or large-scale behavioral analytics.

Strong background in signal processing, adaptive filtering, and machine learning for multidimensional physiological signals.

Experience in low-latency AI deployment (ONNX, quantization, TensorRT) for edge computing.

Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++.

Deep understanding of neurotechnology, and biofeedback.

Knowledge of health tech compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, FDA guidelines).
-
Proven ability to integrate AI/ML solutions into wearable and cloud-based platforms.
