Dear Norbert,

what kind of results do you want to compare? Source localization, time-frequency decompositions?
I think it is a worthwhile project. Some time ago, I spent some time comparing statistical results between Fieldtrip and EEGLAB, and I have discovered some bugs (http://bugzilla.fcdonders.nl/show_bug.cgi?id=1556). No software is bug free so this type of comparison may help find them.

In addition, for time-frequency decompositions and source localization, the methods used are always slightly different in different software and it is important to understand these differences. Comparing methods in different software is an interesting educational project for those starting in the field.

Best,

Arno
