[Eeglablist] Is there an auto method for prerocessing the data in order to remove artifact

Hello Andria, hope the note below is useful to you.

You can try and work with various freely-available toolboxes, many of which
work with or use eeglab.
Most people use a combination of published and in-house methods for
artifact detection and/or artifact removal. Eeglab favors ICA-based
methods, which have been shown in published research to be quite valid for
artifact-detection and removal.

Some of these include various ICA artifact detection toolboxes such as MARC
or SASSICA
which are extensions that can be downloaded and used with matlab. FASTER
and ADJUST are others.

Some others you may want to try are as follows (search for them on Google
scholar)
TAPEEG or the PREP pipeline from Bigdely-shamlo et al....
These methods represent a new bread of automatized pipelines.

Large scale studies have not yet been done that  compare different methods
of cleaning, EEG phenomena, human expert review, and other issues in this
area. Thus any comparisons you make across methods would be useful to the
field.
