Brief description: The Clinical Psychophysiology Lab in the Psychology Department at Michigan State University seeks a Research Associate in clinical psychophysiology focused on multi-method approaches – including behavior, EEG/ERP, fMRI, and peripheral physiology (e.g., startle eyeblink, heart rate, skin conductance) – to cognitive and affective mechanisms in anxiety and related psychopathology. The Research Associate will work with data from NIH-funded studies that examine associations between anxiety-related problems and cognitive-control, reward, and threat processing across the menstrual cycle and development. Research Associates are also encouraged to participate in and develop related projects in line with these themes.

Minimum requirements: Doctoral degree in clinical or cognitive psychology, or neuroscience. Experience in cognitive neuroscience methods, EEG/ERP neuroimaging approaches, and related data analysis platforms.

Happy to answer any questions about it.

Thanks!
