[Eeglablist] Comparing time points before and after one event

Hello all,

I am looking to compare two time points, occurring before and after one event (for example, 3 seconds before and 3 seconds after stimulus onset). I am wondering if it is possible to do this at the STUDY level? Or would I have to create new events to identify these two time points in the dataset to extract and compare? I am new to using EEGLab, so any help is appreciated.
