Dear Colleagues,
Join the INCF network at the INCF Assembly on Neuroinformatics on Sep 23-25 at the University of Texas at Austin!
This year's theme is "Brain Meets AI: Pioneering the Future of Neuroinformatics" and we are now accepting late breaking abstracts - submit your work via this link until Aug 23.
Registration is open, with discounts for INCF members (you can sign up during the registration process)!
The INCF Assembly is a unique venue where neuroscience standards developers, infrastructure providers, and software developers have the opportunity to interact with the research community to share the latest advancements in neuroinformatics. Our keynote speakers this year are Elisabeth Bik (Microbiome Digest), Timo Dickscheid (Jülich Research Center), Hanchuan Peng (SEU-ALLEN Joint Center), Danilo Bzdok (Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute), and Viktor Jirsa (Institut de Neurosciences des Systemès) who will cover the latest developments in the topics of FAIR neuroscience, facilitating standardization and sharing of neurophysiology data, applications of AI to neuroscience research, closing the discovery loop and digital twins, and research integrity in neuroscience.
We are also happy to host the panel discussion "BRAIN Initiative Informatics Perspectives: Funding and Building a Sustainable Data Ecosystem" with representatives from the NIH.
The meeting is followed by 3 training courses: Driving collaboration in neurophysiology with NWB and DANDI, Introduction to reproducible neuroimaging data processing and analysis with brainlife.io, and DataJoint pipelines for your neuroscience experiments on Sep 26-27.
We at INCF hope to see you at Assembly 2024 and would very much appreciate it if you could forward the information above to your relevant networks in AI, computer and data science, and neuroscience.

INCF is a grassroots movement, a member organization, and an international non profit with the mission to promote the uptake of FAIR data management practices in neuroscience through the development of standards and best practices. INCF also provides training on how standards and best practices facilitate reproducibility and enable the sharing of data and code. The INCF community is composed of neuroscientists (represented areas include neuroimaging, electrophysiology, computational neuroscience, neuroinformatics, data management, computing systems, and more) and infrastructure and tool developers.
